… oh this is ridiculous, our Explorer’s arrived and I can’t even clear security… what’s that password again… AHA!
A password gets typed into the box and it turns pink. Login failed flashes on the screen.

Cyber Ranger (on-screen): Urgh, that was painfu-- Oh! Fantastic! You’re here! Great to meet you, Explorer! Can’t wait for you to save Cyber City and the future of our very existence! The fate of our entire planet and future generations is completely in your… capable…

… hands. Okay, you look very startled. Perhaps I’ve overdone it – let’s start again, from the very beginning.

Correct password is added, and the box returns to blue with the word Loading displayed.

A robot character slides in, and its blue head fills the screen. The screen pulls back, and the robot is fully visible.

Background changes from black to blue and a follow spotlight follows Cyber Ranger as it moves around the screen.

This… is Cyber City.

It’s a beautiful place. Everyone here’s living their best life, doing mega important work to improve things around the planet. Healthcare workers, entrepreneurs, environmentalists, athletes, even content creators – all on a mission to create a better world for now, and the future.

Cyber Ranger waves their hand again and the screen opens out to become a beautiful view of Cyber City, lights twinkling and flickering in neon.

The problem is… some folks around here aren’t all that clued up when it comes to Cyber Security. They don’t really get how important it is to protect themselves, others, and information as part of their role. I mean, seriously – someone had “Password123” for their login last week.

That’s where you come in, Explorer.

Me and my team of Cyber Security experts have our very own mission - to help the people of Cyber City work safer, smarter, and more securely.

But we need a final member. And that would be… you!

Each member of the Cyber Security Team – Social Engineer, OSINT Investigator, Digital Forensic Investigator, Network Security Specialist, Penetration Tester, and Applications Security Specialist jump into the screen, like a superhero team. There is also a gender-neutral silhouette representing you.

If you don’t have a huge level of knowledge yet – that's okay! Come learn the role of Cyber Security in the workplace and beyond by exploring differing jobs and taking on challenges to help us all up our safety game. After all, Cyber Security is part of every job out there – Youtubers, game designers, actors, singers, sports players, doctors, animators, inventors, astronomers, interpreters, teachers… whatever industry you’re interested in, Cyber Security is a part of it!
